Hanova hosted its first Chinese New Year celebration on February 7, 2013. The afternoon included a variety of performances. Our inaugural performance at Hanova took place on December 12-13, 2012. You could feel the excitement in the air before “opening night”. We thank everyone who gave of their time and talents to make this performance possible!
Hanova’s first whole school art exhibition was open in February to an audience of parents and students. This exhibition in the school foyer shows off the artistic talent of students from 3 to 18 years of age under the guidance of our art teacher Mrs Carrie Varjavandi. Many people besides the students have helped to put this exhibition on and our thanks go to them.
Many of the students had a most enjoyable time last Friday, 30th November in assembly and coming to school in non-uniform. The generosity of the students, staff and parents raised a total of ¥3,350 which will be sent on to Yellow River Soup Kitchen before Christmas to help them in a small way to carry on their good work.
